Ramtech is now well underway with the site development work in preparation for the installation of the new high school facility for Randolph Field ISD. The design-build contract calls for us to provide complete turnkey services to the district for a 47,448 square foot two-story facility using our Accelerated Building System (ABS) prefabricated construction method. Ramtech recently completed a 13,440 square foot classroom building at the Junior High campus of Ferris (TX) Independent School District. Built using our traditional permanent modular construction process, the new 12 classroom facility includes a fully equipped science lab and administrative office space. This modular school building has a full masonry exterior to blend in with the existing campus structure, and wall-mounted HVAC units to provide efficient heating and cooling to each room. Ramtech was pleased to host a tour of RMD’s manufacturing plant for the attendees of the Modular Building Institute’s Dallas Modular Construction Summit held on November 4th at the Hyatt Regency Dallas hotel and conference center. Ramtech’s Mike Slataper, Linc Moss, Roland Brown, and Gary White fielded questions and provided attendees with a perspective on how we approach the manufacturing of relocatable and permanent modular buildings as design-build construction company. Ramtech has hired commercial MEP design veteran Robert Frick who will join the company’s engineering group as Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing Design Manager. This marks Robert’s return to Ramtech after 18 years working as an MEP consultant including his most recent position as Vice President and Director of the Education Division for Image Engineering Group of Grapevine, Texas.
