Ramtech continued to build on our recent success in the public college and university market by securing a new $1.6 million contract to provide two new modular buildings that will be located on the main campus of the University of Texas at Dallas in Richardson, Texas.  UTD will purchase the two 8,736 square foot facilities for $1.6 million and use them as temporary teaching labs in the University’s Bio and Mechanical Engineering Departments. Ramtech will begin installation of both buildings in June, and expects to complete the project by July 15, 2014. (more…)

 There has been a decision by the Texas Department of Insurance that directly impacts the use of portable classrooms by school districts in the fourteen counties that make up the coastal bend in south Texas.  This decision removes one of the most important aspects for using a portable classroom building, namely its ability to be portable and relocated economically.
