Ramtech was pleased to be able to head back down to the Rio Grande Valley recently and photograph the two commercial modular projects we previously completed for the Weslaco, Texas-based Payne Auto Group. The 2,400 square foot permanent modular buildings are being used as pre-owned sales centers for the auto dealership’s Harlingen and Edinburg locations in South Texas. Both buildings have exceeded the customers expectations and are contributing significantly to the company’s success in the area.
Both Type VB buildings were built using Ramtech’s pier and beam permanent modular construction process with a concrete stem wall foundation system. The facilities feature seven offices around the perimeter of the buildings with 4’0 x 6’0 windows for easy viewing between rooms, a large customer waiting and reception area, and an employee break room. The exteriors feature a parapet wall design with a combination of HardiePanel and 26-gauge high-rib steel R-Panel siding. The interiors are finished with VCG on the walls and Allure resilient laminate wood plank flooring. Heating and cooling are accommodated with a split system at one location and wall-mounted package units at the other.
In business in southern Texas since 1949, the family-owned Payne Auto Group has 17 locations spread conveniently across seven cities in the area. The company represents multiple car brands with knowledgeable sales, parts, and service professionals at their many dealerships.
