Kilgore ISD, Life Skills Facility

The Kilgore, TX school district was faced with both the loss of an existing facility for their Alternative Education program, and the need to expand their agriculture classes and childcare space. The timeframe and cost of ordinary site-built construction were too high, so the district turned to Ramtech’s Slab-on-Grade Permanent Modular Construction. This 7,552 square foot facility, purchased through the BuyBoard, features an alternative education center with a computer lab, science lab, and administrative offices. Also included are large open-space classrooms, childcare facilities, and an in-school suspension room.
