Ramtech provided full design-build services for the development and construction of this 14,728 sf Directorate of Information Management building and the renovation of an adjacent facility. The building replaced the original base datacenter and includes five offices, server room, network operations center, and electrical and mechanical rooms. The server room has raised flooring and accommodates 79 liquid cooled servers. The building has a painted concrete masonry exterior without windows in order to meet the Mission Critical Security requirements as the nerve center of the base. All of the construction took place under heightened security that minimized any disruptions or shutdowns of DOIM’s 24/7 operations.
