Ramtech has now completed the installation of the modular buildings for phase two of its permanent modular construction project for the Blue Ridge Independent School District in Blue Ridge, Texas. A new 27,192 square foot two-story elementary school complete with 17 classrooms, two science labs, administrative office space, and a comprehensive media center will be replacing an aging facility slated to be torn down.
In August, Ramtech completed the first building in the project, an 18,088 square foot middle school built adjacent to the school districts high school complex. Both buildings utilized Ramtech’s Accelerated Building System Slab-on-Grade construction method, and were designed to match the other surrounding structures through the use of a full-height masonry exterior of split-faced block. The new elementary school is on schedule for a 2011 Christmas-break completion date, with occupancy to take place in February of 2012.
