After a long hiatus, Ramtech Building Systems will return to exhibit at the 80th annual Texas Society of Architects TxA Design Expo this Thursday and Friday. Jeff Ward will represent us in booth 616 at the Moody Gardens Hotel and Convention Center in Galveston.
The conference promises to provide a wide range of educational sessions, tours, and professional networking events where the focus will be on ‘Immersion in Knowledge, Resilience, and Inclusion’. The scheduled events will begin with tours and educational sessions, with the first keynote address on Friday the 25th by founding principal Claire Weisz of WXY Architecture and Urban Design. Additional keynote speakers include designer, urbanist, and social innovator Liz Ogbu along with a discussion on the intersection of research and real-world practice by MIT Department of Architecture faculty member Skylar Tibbits. by providing a wide range of educational sessions, tours, and professional networking events.
The Texas Society of Architects is a state component of the American Institute of Architects. Founded in 1939, it is one of the largest architectural organizations with 18 regions and over 7,200 members. Considered the signature event for Texas professional architects, the TxA Design Expo is expected to draw more than 3,000 architects and other industry professionals from around the state. Ramtech will be exhibiting our product offerings for relocatable modular buildings and the two types of modular construction that we provide. As a registered AIA CES provider for the West South Central Region (Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas) we will also promote our program for face-to-face HSW Learning Units through our continuing education courses in Modular and Prefabricated Components.
