With the tremendous expansion of oil and gas drilling across the country over the last few years, an enormous opportunity has been created for the use of modular buildings for everything from workforce housing to administrative offices.
The energy industry has always been a market that Ramtech has participated in, with successful completion of projects in locations all across the Southwestern and Southeastern U.S. Now, for the first time, Ramtech will be able to show off our innovative facility solutions at one of the premier conferences serving the oil and gas industry, the DUG Permian Basin Conference being held May 20-22 at the Fort Worth Convention Center in Fort Worth, Texas. We will take part with over 250 exhibitors that will have the opportunity to be in front of more than 2,400 oil and gas industry professionals. Ramtech will be represented in Booth 843 by business development specialist Jeff Ward, who will be promoting our modular construction approach to designing and developing administrative offices and engineering facilities to service companies operating in the midstream sector of the market.
Originally started in 2006, the DUG brand has become a series of conferences focused on the industry’s business challenges and opportunities in identifying and developing unconventional resources. Developed by Hart Energy, DUG originally meant ‘Developing Unconventional Gas’. However, with the discovery of oil in the unconventional formations of legacy reservoirs like the Permian Basin which require more modern drilling and completion techniques, the DUG brand has evolved to a broader meaning of ‘Developing Unconventionals’. The Conference will cover the Wolfcamp, Cline, Bone Spring, Wolfberry, Spraberry, Clearfork, and Yeso shale plays, all of which are located within the Permian’s Midland, Delaware, and Marfa Basins. With the oil production in the Permian Basin now exceeding the combined volumes of both the Bakken and Eagle Ford plays, it has become America’s premier oil province once again and an excellent target for Ramtech’s high quality relocatable modular buildings.
