Ramtech recently received an order from the Cleveland Independent School District for the purchase of five of the our industry standard eight classroom modular school buildings.
One of the new facilities will be installed at the school district’s middle school, while the other four modular buildings will be split between Cleveland High School and the Eastside Elementary school campuses. Ramtech is providing one modular building from our inventory, while the other four buildings will be manufactured prior to delivery and installation by the end of June. All of the modular school buildings utilize R-Panel metal siding for the exterior, with vinyl covered gypsum walls and vinyl composition tile flooring in the interior. Ramtech expects to complete the entire modular school project during the first week of August.
The Cleveland ISD is located in the greater Houston area in the Texas Education Agency’s Region 4. The district serves the cities of Cleveland and Plum Grove as well as portions of San Jacinto and Montgomery counties. Beginning in May of 2018, Cleveland ISD began utilizing our extensive line of standard double and multiple classroom building offerings to meet the exploding student populations at each of its campuses. Since 2014 the district has doubled its student population to more than 6,500. Under current projections, by 2021 the Cleveland schools are projected to enroll more than 10,000 students. In the past 12 months the fast-growth designated district has acquired 18 buildings from Ramtech totaling 59,256 square feet. Included are the five new multiple classroom buildings, 12 portable double classrooms, and a toilet trailer.
