Ramtech is proud to announce that we received two Awards of Distinction trophies at the 39th annual Modular Building Institute 2022 World of Modular Conference and Trade Show held April 25-28 at the La Cantera Resort & Spa in San Antonio, Texas. The highly attended sold-out conference returned to an in-person event this year after operating as a digital only event due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021.
Ramtech received a first first-place award in the Permanent Office Over 10,000 square foot for our 22,680 square foot two-story multi-use office building constructed for Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico. Designated as a Multi-Use Office Building (MUOB) project, the new facility was built using our innovative slab-on-grade permanent modular construction process and installed adjacent to LANL’s main headquarters. The permanent modular office building provides space for 67 personal offices in three sizes, an open center area on both floors to accommodate 12 freestanding office spaces using custom furniture cubicles, and an atrium area at the structures entrance. The exterior finish complemented the adjacent structures through the use of durable Hi-Rib horizontal metal panels at grade and an Exterior Insulation and Finish System (EIFS) with stucco textures that accent the buildings geometry.
Ramtech also received an honorable mention award in the Permanent Modular Retail category for the 2.400 square foot pre-owned car dealership sales center we provided to Payne Auto Group in Edinburg, TX. The Type VB building was built using our pier and beam permanent modular construction process with a concrete stem wall foundation. The facility features seven offices around the perimeter of the building with 4’0 x 6’0 windows for easy viewing between rooms, a large customer waiting and reception area, and an employee breakroom. The exteriors utilized a parapet wall design with a combination of HardiePanel and 26-gauge high-rib steel R-Panel siding.
