Ramtech representatives Mike Smith and Rocky Hopkins were both in attendance at the April 20, 2011 groundbreaking ceremony at the site of a new elementary school for the Blue Ridge ISD in Blue Ridge, Texas.
Led by Superintendent Todd Lintzen, the ceremony included the school board trustees, several local public officials, and members of the police and fire departments. The ceremony took place on the site of an existing parking lot which will be razed for the construction of the new school. The elementary school will feature 17 classrooms, two science labs, administrative office space, and a comprehensive media center.
Part of two separate projects which also includes a new middle school for the District, both modular building projects are being developed using Ramtech’s Accelerated Building System. While the groundbreaking ceremony for the elementary school was taking place, crews were at work pouring the last sections of the concrete slab for the new middle school, which has an expected completion date of August 4, 2011. The elementary school is expected to be completed by December 23, 2011.
