On Thursday, June 6th a ribbon-cutting ceremony and official opening was held at Vance Air Force Base for the relocatable modular building Ramtech designed and constructed for the new home of the 33rd Flying Training Squadron.
The 17,284 square foot facility was developed as a five year operating lease and will provide more space for pilot training to allow Vance AFB to increase their pilot graduation rate to increase the number of pilots for the U.S. Air Force. The single-story complex provides space for eight training classrooms, 15 offices, conference room, a squadron briefing room, and an administrative reception area.
As part of the contract, Ramtech was responsible for the development of the site including the building pad, extension and connection of all utilities, fire sprinkler and alarm systems, as well as providing all of the office and classroom furniture throughout the building. Ramtech is grateful to have played a part in developing the building and wishes to thank everyone at Vance AFB and all those who helped make this such a successful project.
