Your Design-Build Source for Permanent Modular Construction

Ramtech's Permanent Modular Construction Slab on Grade Building System is an ideal method for design-build contracts, allowing you to work with one company that can both design and build your new facility. We do this through a vertically integrated process that combines our own Engineering design team and the manufacturing of our own product, together with a highly skilled construction management group that supervises the installation and site work using our own crews.

The process starts with our ability to offer you our No Cost Project Planning and Budgeting service. After an initial programming meeting we provide you with a basic floor plan and site plan design, an exterior rendering of the proposed facility, outlined building specifications, and a preliminary budget. Once the preliminary budget is approved, the design phase begins with a fee that rarely exceeds 2% of the preliminary budget amount. A more in depth programming meeting and design review will then take place in order to bring the design to an 85% completion level. This will allow a final price to be presented to you in the form of a Stipulated Sum (fixed price) or a Guaranteed Maximum Price.

PROJECT DELIVERY METHODS

Ramtech's slab-on-grade process utilizes prefabricated modular sections which are manufactured with the ceiling and walls attached - but without a floor - then transported to the project site and crane set directly onto a conventional concrete slab foundation. In addition to our preferred option of using the Design-Build process, we can also develop your project using Construction Manager at Risk, Construction Manager Agent, and Competitive Sealed Proposal.

Ramtech also offers preconstruction services including design-assist and budget input, as well as taking the role of a strategic subcontractor to your designated prime or general contractor. process, the flexibility of the types of projects that can be performed is greatly expanded without sacrificing the speed and cost advantages inherent in prefabricated construction.

CLARY SAGE COLLEGE TWO-STORY PERMANENT ADDITION

Project video narrated by Teresa Knox, Founder and Owner of Clary Sage College in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

This video was shot in the College's fashion design lab, part of a 19,270 square foot two-story addition to their existing campus that used Ramtech's Accelerated Building System method. Using a design-build stipulated sum contract, the Type II noncombustible structure adds twelve 800 to 1,000 square foot vocational classrooms including computer, interior design, and fashion design labs, as well as administrative offices, a commercial display area, student union and break room. Having been at capacity for over two years, the addition increased the overall size of the college by 60% and enabled the school to offer new degree programs in fashion and interior design as well as provide for badly needed space for their existing curriculum.
